Arrow Video have you covered with a fantastic release of Clive Barkers Nightbreed ( @arrowfilmsvideo )

As the nights draw in and the winter gets closer, it only means one thing – more time to spend watching new (and older) films

One of the releases for the month of October from Arrow Films that I was looking forward to the most was Nightbreed and this release certainly didnt let me down. From the mind of legendary visionary of the macabre Clive Barker (Hellraiser, Candyman). A nightmare-induced fantasy set in a world like nothing you’ve ever experienced before… Nightbreed will leave you questioning who the real monsters are. The victim of studio interference and an unrepresentative marketing campaign, Nightbreed has since undergone a radical reappraisal and Arrow Video have presented  two versions of this depraved cult classic and an insane selection of extras that will likely never be bettered, for the ultimate nightmarish viewing experience.

With a huge list of behind the documentaries and interviews (as well as commentaries), this is the ultimate edition of Nightbreed including a wonderful video intro featuring Clive Barker going through a brief overview of the films journey from the page to the home screen.Whilst I could go through all the special features, Id recommend you treat yourself to clicking through the menu’s and learning more about Nightbreed than you thought you could ever know. A great ‘film school’ release from Arrow Video. (I loved the 30 minute interview with actor Nicholas Vince who not only talks about his experience on Nightbreed, but also what its like working on other Clive Barker projects such as Hellraiser)
