Simona is known not only for her bombshell looks and traffic-stopping figure; she also speaks seven languages. This brainy beauty started her career in the UK when she appeared in such primetime television shows as THE IT CROWD, LIFE BEGINS, the ever-popular FOOTBALLERS’ WIVES, and national favourite BAD GIRLS, as well as a string of independent films including Danny Dyer epic VENDETTA. A Bond Girl that never was, Simona was cast in and filmed a scene for Daniel Craig‘s 007 debut, CASINO ROYALE, but it was cut from the final movie leaving fans shaken and stirred.
Based between London and Los Angeles, Simona’s journey to the silver screen began when she left her family nest at the age of 14. Born to academic parents in Slovakia, this self-described nomad always visualised herself on the global stage and decided to pursue her creative dreams and ambitions internationally. Armed with gripping charisma, magnetism, boundless energy and fierce determination, she completed her university studies in London, further honing her craft and language skills through courses at various academic institutions, such as UCL, RADA and The Actors Centre.
GALLOWWALKERS was Simona’s first Hollywood role, and having settled there, she continued to work on an array of projects with Hollywood names, ranging from James Franco in art film REBEL, directed by Harmony Korine(SPRINGBREAKERS), to more mainstream features, TV shows and stage productions.
Putting her natural entrepreneurial spirit to good work, and with her impressive ‘black book’ of contacts when not busy connecting the dots for others, Simona is also working on writing and developing her own projects.
Away from show business, Simona balances her life by helping to run her own animal shelter. When not rescuing stray cats and dogs, working, networking or hopping on planes to discover indigenous cultures, Simona indulges in handcraft, designing and making her own clothes, restoring furniture and cooking. She is an avid yoga enthusiast, practices daily meditations, and enjoys the outdoors with some adrenalin mixed in.
